September's nice weather turned to October's cold miserable weather. Not a day near normal temps yet this month. Oct 1 saw the opening of bow deer season. Many changes this year with the most notable being the use of crossbows in some manner during the bow season. Those 50 or over can use them statewide and in zone 3 anyone over 12 can use them.
