December and January saw lots of snow and cold weather. There is plenty of ice on the lake and many people are out there ice fishing. Tip-up town is held on and off Houghton lake in Prudenville, Michigan,
the last two weeks in January, annually.
A $6.00 badge gets you into the tip-up town u.s.a. site both weekends.
With your badge you could win one of the following prizes:
1ST PRIZE $1000.00
2ND PRIZE $300.00
3RD PRIZE $150.00
Prizes given away both weekends at 3:30-4P.M. On Sunday.
Carnival with rides and games, Helicopter rides, Airplane rides, Polar bear club, Antique snowmobile show, Winter B.B.Q., Ice sculpture carving, Snowmobile racing, Beer tent, night life, Ice fishing contests, Kids contests, Monster truck rides
